Pierce My Ear (Perfora Mi Oreja)

Buenos Dias. Como estas? (How are you?) Espero que todos estan bien. (I hope everyone is fine.) Hoy es domingo. (Today is Sunday.) Fui a la iglesia por la manana. (I went to church this morning.) (When I was there, my friends said they wanted to come for a visit today.) (In our discussion, the idea of slavery came up.) (I told them that slavery is very old, and many many people in the world from the beginning of time were slaves.) (Before the black slaves in America, the Indians were slaves.) En Europa, ellos tenian esclavos blancos. (In Europe, they had white slaves.) (And, even the Bible talks about slaves.) (Abraham, the father of the faithful, had slaves.) (One of the books of the New Testament was about a slave named Onesimus who became a Christian.) (In the Old Testament, if a slave loved his master, he had his ear pierced to show that he wanted to stay with his master the rest of his life.) (And, there is a song that says that we want God to pierce our ear.) (We love God and want to stay with him the rest of our life.)
