This Question Was Asked: “What is your opinion on South Korea?”

If you have been following my blog, you may already know what I think of S. Korea. You probably know I really appreciate S. Korea, but the question was asked, and this is the answer I gave:

I love S. Korea. In general, he S. Korean people are kind, pure, and good. I appreciate the peace that you can find in s. Korea. I appreciate the friendliness that the S. Koreans show foreigners. I like the subway and bus system. It is extremely efficient and affordable. I like the fact that the crime rate is so low that even children can walk around after dark unafraid. That is a huge accomplishment! Very few countries are like that now a days.

I like the fact that if someone is going to be in the public eye, they have to have their act together. I like it that S. Koreans don’t accept their K-pop and Korean drama stars taking drugs, getting drunk, or sleeping around. I appreciate the S. Korean people for wanting their government to be extremely free of corruption.

Christianity is a real force in S. Korea, and I like that. If people are Buddhist, it doesn’t cause trouble. Christian and Buddhists live side my side in harmony in S. Korea, and I think that is wonderful. Photo by Patricia McCarty on Pexels.com

Things work well in Korea, and I really appreciate the Korean people because of it. I like the clean streets and the constant upgrades in the gardens and streets. It can be inconvenient to always end up in traffic jams because someone has decided to upgrade the road, but upgraded roads are very nice. I like the fact that there is a church building on every street corner and crosses rising up over the cities. It means the S. Koreans really are trying to be a good, pure people. Basically, I love S. Korea.
