Buna ziua. Ce mai faci? (How are you?) Ieri era Ziua de Multimire in America. (Yesterday was Thanksgiving in America.) Cand la gente au venit in America de Europa, ei au stiut ca era doar din cauza de Dumnezeu ca tot au mers pentru ei. (When the people came to America from Europe, they knew that it was only because of God that everything went well for them.) Ei au portat ca cresitini. (They acted like Christians. ) Pelerini nu au luptat cu Indieni. (The Pilgrims didn’t fight with the Indians.) Ei au devenit prieteni cu Indieni, si Indieni au ajutat pe ei.(They made friends with the Indians, and the Indians helped them.) Indieni l-au invatat cum sa descurca in pamantul nou. (The Indians taught them how to make it in the new land.) Tote pelerine au muncat, si nici unul era lenes. (All the pilgrims worked, and not one was lazy.) Ei au portat cum crestini trebuie sa porta. (They acted like Christians should.) Erau credencios, si Dumnezeu era credincios. (They were faithful, and God was faithful.) Ei au primit binecuvantarele din Dios ca ei erau credincios, si au inceput o salbatoare doar sa spune multumesc lui Dumnezeu pentru binecuvanterele lor. (They received blessings from God because they were faithful, and they began a celebration just to say thankyou to God for their blessings.) Si in ziua de azi, oameni in American continua sa tine acest salbatoare sa spunem multumesc lui Dumnezeu pentru binecuvantarele nostri. (And today, people in America continue to hold this celebration to say thankyou to god for their blessings.) Dumnezeu e foarte credencios. (God is very faithful.)
