I Have Found a Friend in Jesus (Am Gasit un Prieten en Iesu)

Buna Ziua. Cum te stimti azi? (How are you feeling today?) (I hope everything is going fine for you today.) Am prieteni peste tot pamant. (I have friends all over the earth.) (I didn’t plan for it to be like that, but from the time I was snall, I have traveled.) La inceput, am mers din cauza de serviciu tatal meu, si dupa acea, serviciu sotul meu, si dupa acea, serviciu meu. (At the beginning, I went because of my dad’s job, then my husband’s job, and after that, my job.) (It looks to me like God didn’t want me to stay in just one country.) (If I hadn’t found Jesus as a friend, life could have been harder.) (However, Jesus helped me understand and put all in a place that I could understand what was happening to me.) El e adevarat prientul meu. (He is truly my friend.)

He’s the fairest of ten thousand to my soul,

The lily of the valley, In him alone I see

El e crin de vale, in el doar vad

All I need to cleanse and make me fully whole.

In sorrow he’s my comfort,

In tristate, el e comfortul meu,

In trouble he’s my stay,

In necaz el e locul meu,

He tells me very care on him to roll.

He all my griefs has taken and all my sorrow borne,

El tot supararele mele a luat si to necazur a se dus,

In temptation, he’s my strong and mighty tower;

In ispita, el e turnul meu inalt si puternic;

I have all for him forsaken, and all my idols torn

Am lasat tot pentru el, si tot idole am rupt

From my heart, and now he keeps me by his power,

Though all the word forsake me and Satan tempt me sore,

Through Jesus I shall safely reach the goal.

Prin Iesu, voi ajung la tinta mea.

(chorus)

He will never, never leave me nor yet forsake me here,

While I live by faith and do his blessed will;

In timpul cand triesc prin credinta si fac vointa lui binecuvantat;

A wall of fire about me, I’ve nothing now to fear,

From his manna he my hungry soul shall fill.

The sweeping up to glory to see his blessed face

Where rivers of delight shall ever roll.

Unde fluviu de incantarea va fie invesnicie.
