Our God, He is Alive (Dumnezeu Nostri, El e Viu)

Buna Ziua. Ce mai face? (How are you?) (Today, I have a very pretty song for you.) Dumnezeu ne a facut, si ne iubeste, (God made us and loves us.) El e tatal nostru. (He is our father.) Pentru mine, el a facut viata mea minunata. (For me, he made my life wonderful.) (When I was young, I thought that life had no meaning.) (I didn’t know who I was, where I was, what I must do, and why I must do it.) (For me, life looked like it just didn’t have any value.) Paranti mei nu au mers la biserica. (My parents didn’t go to church.) (I had heard of God, but I didn’t know who he was.) (When I began going to church, I heard more about God, and I decided that I wanted to go to Heaven and live with him.) Am devenit un crestin. (I became a Christian.) (All of a sudden, I was part of something bigger than myself.) Niciodata am apartine de nimic. (I had never belonged to anything.) (But now the people from church included me.) Si am gasit intelesul in viata. (And I found meaning in life.) Dumnezeu a devenit intelesul meu. (God became my meaning.) Dumnezeu mi a dat un tinta mare, sa merg in rai. (God gave me a big goal, to go to Heaven.) Dumnezeu mi a dat mult tintele. (God gave me a lot of goals.) Eu am inceput sa incerc sa deveni o persona mai buna. (I began to try to become a better person.) Am incept sa incerc sa ajut pe cele alte. (I began to try to help others.) (I had an interest and a talent in languages, and I studied because people needed my languages.) Mult a intamplat cu mine. (A lot happened to me.) Viata mea a avut un motiv, a avut un inteles. (My life had a reason, it had a meaning.) (God gives us a reason, a meaning for life.) Dios viu. (God lives.) (And I have a song about the fact that God lives today.)

There is beyond the azure blue

Exista mai departe de cel albastru azuriu

A God, concealed from Human sight,

Un Dumnezeu oameni nu pot sa vad,

He tinted skies with Heavenly hue,

And framed the world with his great might

Chorus:

There is a God, he is alive

Exista un Dumnezeu, el e viu

In him we live, and we survive,

In el traim, si existam,

From dust our God created man,

Dumnezeu a creat omule din praf,

He is our God, the great I Am.

El e Dumnezeu nostril, cel grande Eu Sunt.

Verse 2:

Our God, whose son upon the tree

Dumnezeu nostri, fiul lui era pe crucea

A life was willing there to give

That he from sin might set man free

And evermore with him could live.

(Chorus)
