Ensene’ una clase de Biblia. (I taught a Bible class.) Cante’ delante de la gente. (I sang in front of people.) Hable’ idiomas de otros pais. (I spoke foreign languages.)Pero toda es diferente aqui. (But everything is different here.) Aqui soy nadie. (Here, I am nobody.) Mis opiniones no son importante aqui. (My opinions aren’t important here.) La gente no me conocen. (The people don’t know me.) No quiero ser desanimado. (I don’t want to be discouraged.) Comprendo que me siento solamente choque cultural. (I understand that I am feeling culture shock.)Se que la gente no se quien soy. (I know the people don’t know who I am.) (Sometimes it is difficult to talk with people because I am different.) (Sometimes I think that maybe it is better if I just stay in my apartment and not talk to people.) (But I know that idea is culture shock.) (I know that many ideas I have now are culture shock.) (I have to adapt, and after time, life will be easier.) Necesita quedar cerca de Dios. (I have to stay close to God.) ‘El me ayuda con todos. (He helps me with everything.)
