Now the Day is Over (Acum Ziua sa Sfarsit)

Buna Ziua, Sper ca ati avut o zi buna. (I hope you had a good day.) Pana acum, ziua mea era buna. (Until now, my day has been good.) Sunt foarte fericita. (I am very happy.) (I gave my daughter driving lessons today.) (If you want to read about it, I have already sent a blog out about it.) (Now, I want to end you a spiritual song.)

A girl in a Girl Scout uniform/ Every time she learns something new, she earns a badge. Those are badges on her sash that she has earned for everything she has learned as a Girl Scout.

(When I was a girl, I took part in a kind of club called Girl Scouts.) Fetele a adunat, noi am imbracat cu hainele uniforme, noi am mers la tabara, si noi am invatat mult. (The girls gathered, we dressed in uniforms, we went camping, and we learned a lot.) (One of the things we did was to sing this song.) (I always thought it was a very pretty song.) Imi place intelesul de cantecul acest. (I like the meaning of this song.)

Now the Day is Over

Acum Ziua sa Sfarsit

Now the day is over,

Acum ziua sa sfarsit,

Night is drawing nigh,

Noapte vine mai aproape,

Shadows of the evening,

Umbrele din seara,

steal across the sky.

fura peste cerul.

Jesus give the weary,

Iesu da cele obositele,

Calm and sweet repose,

Calm si dulce odhini,

With thy tenderest blessings,
Cu tu binecuvantarele cel mai iubitor,

May our eyelids close.

Lasati ochii nostru inchide.

When the morning wakens,

Cand dimneata sa scoale,

Then may I arise,

Atunci lasa ma sa ridica,

Pure and fresh and sinless,

Pura si prospata si fara pacatele,

In thy holy eyes.

In fata de ochii tai cel sfant.
