Go Tell It on the Mountain (Mergeti, o Spuneti pe Munte)

Buna Sera. Sper ca esti bine. (I hope you are fine.) (I made a kind of game today for people who want to speak Romanian and are studying.) (I am waiting to see what people think and if they want something like that.) (More and more people travel to Romania, and maybe they want to know.) Am intalnit o femei aici in Corea pe care a factu limba romana la universitatea aici in Corea. (I met a woman here in Korea that studied Romanian at the university here in Korea.) (I know a man who from America who travels to Romania all the time ,and he has to use a translator.) (I read on the computer where someone wrote that Romanian is the hardest Latin language, but I don’t agree. (I think French is the hardest.) (I think people read that Romanian is hard and don’t study, but it is not as hard as people think.) (Now I have a very pretty song for you guys about the birth of Christ. )

Go Tell It on the Mountain

Mergeti, o Spuneti pe Munte

Go tell it on the mountain,

Mergeti, o spuneti pe munte

Over the hills and everywhere,

De asupra dealele si peste tot

Go tell it on the mountain

Mergeti, o spuneti pe munte

Verse 1

The shepherds all were watching’

Pastorele tot erau privind,

While seated on the ground,

Cand au stat jos pe pamant

A light from Heaven descended

o Lumina din cer a coborat

And glory shone around.

Si gloria a stralucit in jurul lor.

Verse 2:

The light shone in the Heavens

Lumina a stralucit in cer,

To cover all the earth.

Acoperi tot pamuntului

It was a sign to tell men

Era un semn sa spune oamenilor

About our savior’s birth

Despre nastrere manuitorului nostri

Verse 3:

The wise men came to worship

Omule intelept au venit sa slujesc

The holy child that day,

Copilul sfant acel zi.

They found him in a manger’

Il au gasit en iesle

A sleeping on the hay.

Dormind de asupra fanul
