Let’s Play With English: Red Verb Quiz, Level 2A

Hi! If you are following the verb quizzes, this is the second level using the red verbs. On the second level, you are supposed to use a modal and a red verb, not just a red verb or a negative red verb. Sometimes, all you need to add is a modal in these sentences because the verb is provided. At times, you need to also include “to” with the verb. If you are unsure about what a modal is, it is word that is attached to a verb that expresses mood or emotion. You can find more information about them in a blog I wrote yesterday. You can also find how to make a negative verb in that blog. If you don’t remember which verbs are on the red verb list, look back at the very first blog in the series labeled “Let’s Play With English.” I will also include another red verb list at the end of this blog. On level 2, on all the quizzes, you are supposed to either add a modal and a verb or a negative verb. However, on this quiz, they are all modals, so let’s get started. The answers are at the end.

Let’s keep moving in English, and getting better.//Photo by Pixabay on Pexels.com
