Easy Spanish, Lesson 20, “Entiendes?” (Do you understand?”

Hola!  Como esta usted?  Today, I have been baking. Easter is coming. In Spanish speaking countries, the whole week is important, and they call it Semana Santa (Holy week).  Easter eggs are los huevos de Pascua.  “Pascua” actually means “Passover,” and “huevo” means egg.  Is everyone preparing for Easter?  Some countries make Easter a really big deal, and it just passes by in others.  However, it is important in Spanish speaking countries.  Here in Korea, there are no signs of Easter even though there are many Christians here.  The only thing I ever see pertaining to Easter here is random people running around giving out Easter eggs, even to strangers.  When I lived in Romania, Easter was the biggest holiday of the year.  Let’s study Spanish.  Estudiamos nos espanol.
