Melt in Your Mouth Chicken

I have learned recipes from all over the world, but I have also done some experimenting and made up my own recipes.  Our fridge happened to be just downright full of chicken breasts this week, and I didn’t want to make the same kind of chicken every evening, so this is one I made up, and it turned out wonderful!  20190314_185345.jpg

I began by setting my oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.

While my oven was heating, I made chicken sauce.  I began by melting butter in a sauce pan. (about 4 tablespoons)

After I melted the butter, I added about 4 tablespoons of flour. I mixed it in and let it get bubbly.20190314_185050.jpg

Next, I added about 1 1/2 cups of milk to the butter and flour and mixed it with a wire whip.

I added chicken bullion to make the white sauce into chicken sauce. I also salted it.20190314_185351.jpg

Next, I took a baking pan and rubbed a little oil in the bottom and put four chicken breasts in the pan.

I covered the chicken breasts with the chicken sauce.

I covered the chicken with tin foil and put it in the preheated oven.

After I put the chicken sauce on the chicken breasts, I covered the pan with tin foil.  Next, I put it in the preheated oven for 30 minutes.

After thirty minutes in the oven

After thirty minutes, I pulled it out of the oven.

I served it with homemade noodles on the side.

I served the chicken with homemade noodles on the side.  The chicken was so good it melted in our mouths!  We also spooned a little of the sauce from the chicken onto the noodles, and it made them even better too.  The chicken was extremely tender and we digested it so easily. It was delicious!
