1. 네, 조금 할 수 있어요. (ne, jokum hal soo eesoyo) – Yes, I can speak a little. or–한국말을 할 수 없어요. (hangook mal ool halsoo obsoyo), – I can’t speak Korean.
2. 미국에서 왔어요. (meegook eso wasoyo) – I come from America. (substitute your country for 미국).
3. 학교에 가요. (hakyo e kayo) – I am going to school./ 직업에 가요 (jeejang e kayo) – I am going to work. 가게에 가요 (kage e kayo) – I am going to the store. 교회에 가요. (kyohe e kayo) – I am going to church.
4. 네, 책 있어요. (ne, check eesoyo)- Yes, I have a book. 책업어요 (check obsoyo) – I don’t have a book.
5. 네, 영어를 할 수 있어요. ( ne, yong oh lul hal soo eesoyo.) – Yes, I can speak English.
6. 햄버거는 삼천원 이예요. (hembogo nun sahm chon on eeyeyo). – A hamburger is three thousand won.
7. 네, McDonald’s e 가자. (ne, McDonald’s e kaja) – Yes, Let’s go to McDonald’s. / 아니요. McDonald’s 에 가지 않아요. (an neeyo. McDonald’s e kajee anayo). – No, I don’t go to McDonald’s.
8. 열개 원해요 (yol ghe won heyo) – I want ten. / 네개 원해요. (ne ghe wonheyo.) – I want four.
9. 책이 책상위에 있어요. (check ee checksan ooee -e eesoyo) – The book is on the desk.
10. 네, 친구는 집에 있어요. (ne, cheengoo nun cheeb e eesoyo) – Yes, my friend is at home./ 아니요. 친구는 집에 앖어요. ( aneeyo. My friend is not at home.)
